About the event
Volunteers play a critical role in the success of Georgia Mountain Food Bank. Their robust volunteer program is made up of dedicated individuals who wish to serve with us to end hunger in our area.
From checking for expired food in our warehouse to packing up distribution boxes to helping at their annual Empty Bowl Lunch, it takes many helpful hands to feed the more than 1 in 5 north Georgians who are hungry.
What to wear?
Closed toed shoes, comfortable clothing that is not too baggy and minimal jewelry. Sandals and flip flops cannot be worn in the VAC or warehouse.
This will be an evening event at the Georgia Community Food Bank. If you’re unable to make this event, we will also be volunteering again on June 117th, September 9th, and December 16th!
